How's That Seattle Housing Market?

Ben Miller from the Puget Sound Business Journal reports that home prices in Seattle are surging upward, thanks to low inventory creating competition between buyers. As many sellers experience multiple offers, sale prices go up, and have increased significantly in the last year alone. Miller writes that “ the median price of a single-family home in King County sold last month was $453,500, which is up 6 percent from a year earlier.” And what’s coming up along with those home prices? The number of all-cash sales, a definite edge for a buyer in an increasingly competitive market.
